Visitors will be able to travel in their imagination through more than 90 years of business history of Cortés Hermanos, listening to great anecdotes and observing relics belonging to different eras.
The Cortés Visitor Center was created with the objective of contributing to education, both for children and adults, about the cultivation of Dominican cocoa and the processes involved in the production of chocolate and cocoa.
In the Center’s museum, visitors can observe some of the machines used in the production process, learn about the origin of cocoa and chocolate, and listen to fun and interesting anecdotes from different periods in the history of Cortés Hermanos.
Experience aimed at children and adults where they can create their own chocolate bar, entering even further into the world of cocoa and chocolate with all their senses.
Visitors will also be able to add this experience to their tour of choice to learn about the entire chocolate production process, from its origin, manufacturing and creation of the final product.
Available for the whole family Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
After a great tour of the different areas of the museum, visitors can enjoy a tasty gastronomic proposal at the Choco Lounge, the Center’s restaurant. Where all our dishes and drinks with a very special ingredient: CHOCOLATE.
You will delight in the exquisite melted cheese with chocolate butter, the house brownie, chocolate drinks, among other dishes.
